This Running Advanced session will build on the fundamentals and is aimed at the serious runner who wants to achieve his/her next PB. Whether it be for a 5k event all the way to a marathon. This session will cover programming in greater detail, racing nutrition, preparing the mind, advanced warm up techniques and more. Participants will need to have completed the Fundamentals session earlier in the day, but it is only $31 more for this extra training.

About Daniel McTainsh:

Dan is a specialist in strength training for endurance sports. Over the past 10 years he’s competed in all triathlon distances from sprint all the way up to Ironman distance triathlon including over 10 long-course triathlons. In 2014 he qualified for the 2014 World Half Ironman Triathlon Championships & competed in theNZ Ironman Triathlon in 2015. In addition to Triathlons, he’s completed a number of Running Marathons, including the ever-popular Gold Coast Marathon multiple times, Toowoomba, Brisbane & Queenstown Marathons.

Dan has recently been selected to attend the prestigious A.I.S. Triathlon Performance Coaching Course in 2015.
