Yoga has changed my life! In every way, shape and form my life has improved since practicing Yoga as a regular part of my life every week.

Yoga in a nutshell is the balancing and connecting of our body, mind and spirit through Yoga poses (asanas), the breath (pranayama) and meditation. In Yoga we learn that the body is the temple of our soul.

Most people start yoga because they physically want to stretch and prevent injuries. Once they start, they usually realise there is a whole lot more to yoga than meets the eye.

The mindset side of yoga is so unbelievably powerful to me that it still amazes me after years of practicing yoga. I can still keep improving myself and improving my mind power and strength through yoga poses. I feel I can heal myself from the inside out with yoga, it is so magical and wonderful.

If you suffer depression or anxiety or any types of mental stresses at all, I can’t recommend enough how healing yoga is for the mind… Physically if you have any injuries, illnesses or ailments, you can start to heal your body through yoga poses, by practicing every week with consistency. Each pose in Yoga has a meaning, which relates to a body part or organ and releases toxins from those areas, bringing in fresh blood and oxygen to start healing your body from the inside out. It’s through Yoga & Meditation that you will start to become far more in touch with yourself, who you are, what you believe in, what you are passionate about and what is important to you in life. Learning to love yourself from the inside out, creating a stillness within yourself that you probably never even realised you had, in your busy day-to-day life…
It’s through this stillness of one’s self that we can start to focus on creating the positive life path that we want for ourselves, helping you to see everything from a more positive perspective. No matter how hard life can get sometimes, yoga will teach you to cope better with day-to-day life every day, for the rest of your life.

From a physical perspective, Yoga does wonders for the body. My body improved by leaps and bounds since I started practicing yoga regularly. I’ve kept a tighter tone and more defined body, especially in conjunction with walking and some weights. As you are constantly stretching out the toxins & keeping healthy joints, it creates much better results as your cells will repair so much quicker through this ancient practice.

Yoga originated from India and the first records of yoga scripture were in 2500BC. It’s so amazing that this practice has been going on and on for years, yet some people are just realising today how powerful the healing of yoga really is.

If you are feeling stressed, depressed, find that you have a mind which races, just can’t relax or settle, and you feel everything in your life is so negative; I totally recommend getting yourself to a yoga class as soon as possible. Really allow yourself a good few weeks or months of practice before you will really start noticing the changes. It can be confronting the emotions that can be released through yoga and meditation, but it is so worth every second of it, to change your life for the better. You will never look back!

What have you got to lose, other than calories, go on, give it a go, IT’S AMAZING….

NAMASTE X
